#1 — GRAFFITI

It is celebrated, marginally legal, and everywhere.

#2 — WOMEN’S SHOES

Apparently a trend for several years, all the women want to be taller. A lot taller.

#3 — ART

Stunning museums, cultural centers and public art abound.

#4 — PEOPLE PAY TO HAVE THEIR DOGS WALKED

And the dogs are very cooperative.

 

Albuquerque Rapid Transit awarded NAIOP’s Chairman’s Award

Albuquerque Rapid Transit and Mayor Richard Berry were awarded NAIOP’s Chairman’s Award and Studio Hill Design gets it’s share of the credit for the graphics and the branding. Also mentioned are HDR Inc., the engineering lead on the project, Dekker/Perich/Sabatin, who supplied all architectural and landscape services and prime contractor Bradbury Stamm Construction.

Dayna Crawford, Deputy Director, Project Manager for ART and Sandy Hill of Studio Hill Design

While many this weekend were comfortably curling up on the couch to watch the Oscars we packed our bags and headed to Florida. There, in Tampa, we were thrilled to collect our 1st Place Adwheel Award for ART (Albuquerque Rapid Transit) from the American Public Transportation Association. We learned a ton about transit and the weather wasn’t even half bad. Ok… the weather was awesome!
